1. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing or using Happy Pet Island (hereinafter, the “Game”), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, you must refrain from using the Game.
Continued use of the Game implies full acceptance of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to play Happy Pet Island.
If you are under 18 years old, you must have the consent of your parents or legal guardians to use the Game.
Cats & Bites Studio is not responsible for the use of the Game by minors who do not have such consent.
3. User Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Using cheats, hacks, or unauthorized third-party software.
- Exploiting bugs, errors, or glitches in the game.
- Participating in the duplication of items, currency, or any game resource.
- Using mods or unofficial alterations of the game client.
- Scamming or deceiving other players.
- Participating in or collaborating on practices that damage the integrity of the game.
- Accessing other players' accounts without authorization.
Any attempt to interfere with the normal functioning of the game or its systems will be considered a serious violation of these Terms.
4. Complicity and Consequences
If it is detected and proven through verifiable evidence that a player has been an accomplice or direct participant in the use of glitches, duplication, hacking, mods, or scams between users, the account may be suspended or permanently closed, without any right to a refund.
In certain cases, and at the sole discretion of the Happy Pet Island team, the player may be offered an alternative to keep their account, provided they accept the terms defined by the team.
5. Suspicious Activity and Response Deadline
If suspicious activity is detected on an account, the team may contact the player through the registered email address.
The player will have a period of 72 hours to respond.
If no response is received within that period, the account may be permanently closed, with no possibility of recovery and without any right to refunds.
If an account is blocked without prior notice, it is because the team already has sufficient evidence of a violation of these Terms.
6. Suspension and Account Termination
Cats & Bites Studio reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.
Decisions made by Cats & Bites Studio regarding moderation, suspension, or termination of accounts shall be final.
7. Virtual Items
Virtual items, currency, or any item within the game have no real monetary value and are not transferable outside the game environment.
Cats & Bites Studio reserves the right to modify, adjust, remove, or withdraw virtual items at any time as part of the game's evolution.
8. Player Account and Deletion
If a player requests or proceeds with the deletion of their account, Cats & Bites Studio will delete or anonymize the personal data associated with that account in accordance with applicable data protection protocols.
However, game save data (progress, statistics, or other records generated during the gameplay experience) may be retained and used for recreational purposes within the game itself.
In such cases, this information will be detached from any personal data and associated with a generic username that does not allow identification of the former account holder.
Such data may be displayed within the game as part of its content or gameplay mechanics.
9. In-Game Purchases
Purchases made within Happy Pet Island are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or when the corresponding payment platform (such as Apple App Store or Google Play) determines otherwise.
The suspension or termination of an account due to violations of these Terms shall not entitle the player to a refund for purchases previously made.
Cats & Bites Studio does not guarantee the future value, availability, or permanence of acquired virtual items.
10. Community Conduct
Users must maintain a respectful environment within the game and in official communities or public spaces related to Happy Pet Island, including social media, forums, groups, or platforms where other players are discussed or interacted with.
Harassment, bullying, insults, threats, or abusive behavior toward other players is not allowed.
It is also not permitted to deliberately provoke conflicts or carry out actions intended to harm the experience of other community members.
Cats & Bites Studio reserves the right to take disciplinary measures when it considers that conduct negatively affects the community or the game environment.
11. Dissemination of False or Malicious Information
The dissemination of false, misleading, or malicious information intended to harm the reputation of Happy Pet Island, Cats & Bites Studio, its development team, or the game community is prohibited.
This includes false rumors, baseless accusations, or manipulation of information intended to generate confusion among players.
12. Harmful Conduct Outside the Game
Cats & Bites Studio reserves the right to take disciplinary measures against any account when it determines that a player has engaged in conduct outside the game that may harm Happy Pet Island, its community, or the experience of other players.
This includes organized campaigns to harm the game, harassment of other players, or the intentional dissemination of malicious information.
13. Intellectual Property
All game content, including graphics, code, design, characters, names, trademarks, and any other element related to Happy Pet Island, belongs to Cats & Bites Studio or its licensors.
This content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
14. Limitation of Liability
Cats & Bites Studio shall be liable only for errors caused directly by failures of the game itself.
We are not responsible for failures arising from the user's device, connection problems, misuse of the game, or the use of unauthorized software.
15. Changes to the Terms
Cats & Bites Studio reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the game after such changes shall imply acceptance of the new terms.
16. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Mexican States.
